Archive for January, 2010

I got bitten by the jdorama bug again, so yeah, the next lists will take longer to publish.  I hope I’ll tire by Saturday, so that I could post something.  Anyway, haven’t finished a single episode from the winter season.  Vampires vs Kimutaku?  I chose the latter.  Right now I’m plowing through Galileo–because Shibasaki Kou [...]

This is what I have been referring to in my New Year post. I will rank the shows I’ve watched for each genre/grouping. I am not yet sure about the complete list of genres/groupings that I will tackle, because I doubt if there is enough material for most of them. But the major ones are slice of life, comedy, shounen, and of course, mecha. But today I will tackle yuri/shoujo-ai. (Warning: There might be some spoilers, but just a few.)

If I remember right, this was the question that blogging senpai Hopeless Sensei asked a few years ago. His blog is gone now, I don’t know what I wrote back then too. But this is not a rehash. The twist is this: if ever anime can no longer be found for free in the internet, would you abandon it as a hobby?

There are so many things I’d like to do this year, I don’t know where to begin.

But first off, let me congratulate myself for the least stressful rankings post evar. I don’t know how many hours it took but I am glad I finished it before 2010 came around. Whew.

Looking back, 2009 was for me the year of missed opportunity. On a personal level, I got stuck in a haze of indecision, grasping for direction in the sea of life. (As to what that means, it’s not anime-related so I’ll save you my dear readers from the boring details.) Blogging-wise, I was not able to execute my intended plans for this blog. I was not even able to celebrate the 3rd year anniversary of Cute Proxy’s Anime Rants! How did that happen??!!
