I’m not exactly a die-hard Evangelion fan, but I did not want to waste the opportunity to get my hands on something (or any plaything) like this lol. Anyway, on second thought had I seen the VF-1S version displayed I would have (or should have?) bought it instead. But I digress so how did I find my new toy, my first one ever from Revoltech?

We interrupt this weekday silence for some ‘absolutely cannot wait’ tidbit. News on a Maria-sama ga Miteru ga Miteru season 4 was posted at Heisei Democracy. This very good news just completed my day. Marimite fans, rejoice!!! 
On the other hand, this person is mad–or just went mad out of boredom? Anyway, he had way too much free time, but in exchange we get to see this beauty, or monstrosity, depending on the way you see it. =p

The fact that I’m viewing Youtube videos means I am so bored today. So, I found a parody of FSN and an Evangelion-Marimite crossover. Hit the jump if you haven’t seen these videos yet.

I’ve seen a lot of pics of Marimite-Eva crossovers, but this is the first time I’ve seen the video. Hmm, why Touko-chan?
And yeah, it’s supposed to be April Fool’s today. And to think I really thought bluemist had gone crazy.

Merry Christmas everyone! (A belated one at that lol.)
I haven’t updated for days (even though I have this so-called post backlog) because I have been afflicted with this sickness called l-a-z-i-n-e-s-s. I wanted to savor the start of my holiday vacation by lying in bed all day and I didn’t want to think about composing anything or letting my brain cells do some work. When I do let them work, it’s usually on how to spend what’s left of my money to get the best upgrade possible for my PC. The reviews and comments I’ve read say that Intel Core 2 Duo is the best upgrade right now, but with my budget I can only assure myself of a processor and the motherboard. If I go AMD, I can get an additional new RAM, or even a new videocard. I haven’t made up my mind yet, and I’m too confused to make a decision. But enough of that; this is an anime blog!!
So what have I been up to? Well, there’s only a few episodes left before I’m able to finish Zero no Tsukaima. The Muteki marathon, meanwhile, has been stalled. I hope I can finish Muteki before the year ends in a few days. I’ve also finished 7 episodes of Saiunkoku Monogatari, but I’m not in a hurry since it’s not finished yet anyway. NHK ni Youkoso, well I’m slowly plowing through it.
And Eva? Er, uhm, ano, well…I haven’t had the ‘drive’ to go ahead and watch the movie. Why? I’m stalling because for some reason I dread watching it, and also because of a certain mustachioed mecha. I’m talking about Turn A Gundam. I have ten episodes to go, and I’m enjoying the show for some strange reason. Go Laura Rola!!! LOL!
Anyway, once I’m done with Turn A I’ll start anew with Zegapain. Since I can’t watch for hours straight, I don’t know if I’ll finish all this before the year is over. So, perhaps my last 2006 rankings post will be next year, if I don’t finish on time lol.
On other developments, the Marimite OVA has been subbed!! Hail Doremi!! Weeeeeee!!!!!

Well, I haven’t been in the mood these days to post anything. The major reason would be that I’ve been doing at least 2 hours overtime for 7 days. That may be a small amount; I know there are lots of people out there who do more than that. But then again 2 extra hours at the office was quite enough to sap my enthusiasm for blogging, hence a week without updates.
Also, the WordPress site has been blocked at the office; that means I won’t be able to do those lunchtime updates that I used to. No more impulsive posts to ruin greet your day. That also means I’ll only be able to post from home, and since that’s usually after work, replies won’t be fast either.
Another thing weighing heavily on my mind these days is the upcoming JLPT exam. (I’ve also noticed other bloggers are also going to take it. ) But I haven’t been studying religiously; I’ve only attended maybe 25% of my classes. I have already resigned myself to the fact that I won’t pass; still my conscience is killing me with things like ‘Shouldn’t you be studying instead of watching Anime X or Anime Y?’ and ‘If only you’d studied properly earlier this year you wouldn’t be in this situation.’ I know it’s my fault, but still passing would be a great feeling.
In other news, er, in other matters, the Anime Nano podcast #16 is out now. To tell the truth, I haven’t listened to one since #9 or #10, I think. I kept putting it off until, well, a large backlog appeared. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to listen to the past ones, but I’ll try to finish #16 this time around. The topic’s interesting too lol. Maybe I’ll be able to do a post–if I don’t procastinate again.
As for the reviews, well, about Evangelion, er, I haven’t seen the movie yet. I’ve been putting it off for the longest time, so perhaps I might watch it next week or the week after the JLPT exams. And I’m still debating with my inner self on whether to review the whole thing or do separate posts on the movie and the series. Grrr.
If you noticed I recycled the header, yes I really did. It really fits my mood right these days. Now it’s bedtime for me, ja!
P.S. And I almost forgot–Pacquiao won against Morales, weeeeeeee!!!! =p

I did get some sleep, but I can’t call it a good one since I was only able to sleep past 2 AM (Phil. time). A bad score couldn’t let me sleep immediately. But now I understand the fuss about the last two episodes. So first up is sort of a tribute for the final one.

No, there is no hole in my head–yet. So after scoring miserably in a bowling game hours ago I decided to reward myself by watching NGE episode 25 earlier than I intended to. This mind-boggling episode has partly erased my misery, and in the end I am actually amused. Amused, because I could not make heads or tails out of it.
