I’m happy despite the fact that I won’t be seeing this one in the Philippines (down with region coding). Anyway, now that the anime has been licensed, how about the novels? Somebody please translate/publish it so that I can buy it!!!
Speaking of the manga, I’ve already started on it but it seems I still have a lot of hurdles to overcome when reading a work in its native language. I bought the books under the pretense that it was for ‘reading exercises.’ I’m still stuck at page 8 or so of volume 1 though. @_@

Thanks to the world’s no. 1 softdrink, I was able to endure headaches and drowsiness to finally complete the 2007 anime rankings. The top 3 was easy, but re-completing the list (I forgot the original at the office @_@) was not that easy. Redoing something is not an enjoyable task.
But since my brain needed a break from watching nothing but anime, and having finished most of the 2007 shows I was following, I felt it was time to do the list. Coincidentally, the number of ranked shows is also the same as last year’s: 21 shows ranked. The only difference now, is that I have decided not to insert anymore the shows I haven’t finished yet as of this writing. Also, the dropped list seems to be longer than last year’s.

Looking back at my post count last year for the month of July, I am green with envy. I was blogging Honey and Clover II and Bimbou Shimai Monogatari, and now I wonder if I’ve already lost the kind of energy that I had at that time. I also realized I was complaining about overtime then, still complaining about it a year later. Also I was complaining then about watching too many shows, but for a change I am suddenly watching ‘lesser’ shows–at least on the ongoing shows category.
As I’ve written in one of my previous posts, I’m in a ‘finish as many series as I can’ mode. I’m taking advantage of the fact that the summer anime season hasn’t been that spectacular for me. So the ‘fruit’ of this endeavor is that I have finally gotten to the 100th anime series/movie/OVA finished. The honor of the ‘100th anime series/movie/OVA finished’ goes to…

We interrupt this weekday silence for some ‘absolutely cannot wait’ tidbit. News on a Maria-sama ga Miteru ga Miteru season 4 was posted at Heisei Democracy. This very good news just completed my day. Marimite fans, rejoice!!!
On the other hand, this person is mad–or just went mad out of boredom? Anyway, he had way too much free time, but in exchange we get to see this beauty, or monstrosity, depending on the way you see it. =p
