Finally after having bought and read the last of the books I most coveted from the Haikasoru lineup last year, I have now made a ranking of the books I've read!
Happy New Year everyone! 😀 It was a good thing I prepared the list in advance months ago. At least I won't be late with this post. Most Hated/Annoying Character/s Fam from Last Exile Ginyoku no Fam - I had long thought that Claus wasn't that impressive as lead--now I think he's okay. Fam on …
Sword Art Online got me thinking about year-end rankings this early. And it's only September!!
Happy New Year everyone! This post is very late because, well, I had a awful start to my Christmas vacation--caught a fever and have been feeling sluggish ever since. Haven't done much and the result is delay in the things I wanted to do. Adding to the delay was my purchase of a new monitor that led to rewatches and viewings galore... Anyway, I have got to say that 2011's crop was better as a whole than 2010's. The top 5 contenders each have the quality to be considered the best show of the year 2011 for me. To illustrate the close fight, the five categories that I used to compare the shows (namely Characters/Entertainment Value/Story-Plot-Ending/Music/Animation) were divided among 4 of the top 6 shows. The 2 shows that didn't get a first place ranking had 2 second-place rankings each.
2010 will be over in a few days, so it's time for that year-end exercise: the year-end rankings of the shows that I watched. I'm quite early from my usual schedule. Whew! Now what else to do on New Year's Eve? 😀
I finally got to follow-up on the first post. Yey! I am so ashamed it took me so long. But it's funny what noise pollution can do to one's mind. So in order to keep myself from losing my sanity, I finally finished my slice of life list.
This is what I have been referring to in my New Year post. I will rank the shows I've watched for each genre/grouping. I am not yet sure about the complete list of genres/groupings that I will tackle, because I doubt if there is enough material for most of them. But the major ones are slice of life, comedy, shounen, and of course, mecha. But today I will tackle yuri/shoujo-ai. (Warning: There might be some spoilers, but just a few.)
I know it's a really, really late post. But clearing the post backlog just makes me feel so better. 😀
It's a miracle! It's another post! And the matrix makes a comeback! Okay, so following the success of the prioritization matrix for divining what shows to drop, I decided to try it out on the anime rankings as well. Guess what? It works! I mean, I generate 50% less wrinkles while trying to decide which slot Code Geass 2 should be in, or how to control my mecha love to obtain some sort of objectivity for the top ranking. Now let's get to it!
It's another post! This blog is alive! In lieu of the usual anime progress report.
